Hi, I’m Jeanne (pronounced like Genie). I have been an upholsterer for almost 12 years in Seacoast New Hampshire and love turning tired, old pieces of furniture into sparkling new pieces. I’m passionate about recycling, reusing, and re-imagining all sorts of textiles, notions, findings and furniture into one-of-a-kind stylish home decor and fabulous wearable art. My Pixie Dust Originals blog was created as a comfortable place to visit to get ideas for re-imagining many post-consumer items (fabric, furniture, clothing, etc.) The objective is to generate conversation and inspiration to encourage a softer footprint on Mother Earth and create individual pieces of self expression.
